Job summary

CharterUP, LLC. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee day-to-day AR activities, focusing on collections, payment processing, and reconciliation. You will guide a small team, ensure timely collections, and collaborate with Sales and Finance to resolve billing issues.

The role supports a hybrid work model in a remote-first environment with occasional in-office attendance in the Atlanta area. 3+ years in AR and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, or a related financial operations role.
• Experience coordinating or overseeing the day-to-day work of a team, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including collections, invoicing, payment application, and account reconciliation.
• Experience following up on overdue balances and resolving billing or payment discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using financial systems or accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
• A hands‑on, solutions‑oriented approach to resolving routine issues and escalating more complex matters when needed.
• Experience with transactions or high-volume AR operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day AR activities, including invoicing, collections, payment application, and account reconciliation.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of team output, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and performance targets are met.
• Monitor aging and follow up on overdue accounts to support timely collections.
• Coordinate workload and ensure timely completion of collections and admin tasks.
• Review AR records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Support to resolve billing questions.
• Follow up with customers and partners on outstanding invoices and payments.
• Escalate complex collection risks to appropriate team members.
• Maintain AR documentation and support month-end/year-end close.
• Onboard/train team members on AR procedures and tools.
