Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounts receivable or related accounting roles, with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Expert proficiency with QuickBooks Online; Xero experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and lookups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Strong communication and problem-solving with high emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 1–2 AR and billing specialists and oversee daily workflow.
• Own AR cycle across multi-state operations, ensuring timely billing and cash collection.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for billing, payment application, and collections follow-up.
• Manage reconciliations, disputes, and root-cause analysis with operations.
• Prepare AR aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and present metrics to leadership.
• Oversee transition from QuickBooks Online to Xero.
• Ensure multi-state tax tracking and remittance compliance.
• Handle high-value collections escalations with external agencies as needed.
