Job summary

TERREPOWER is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections professional to support the finance organization. The role reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and handles billing, cash posting, and collections.

You will monitor overdue accounts, generate past-due reports, resolve inquiries, and collaborate across Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies. Strong negotiation, ERP/AR experience, and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for direct payment conversations.
• Experience with ERP/AR systems and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Balance firm collections with maintaining customer relationships.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with daily outreach.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue balances and take collection actions.
• Generate and maintain monthly past-due reports and credit holds.
• Research and resolve customer inquiries and disputes promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve disputes.
• Develop and implement proactive collection strategies to improve cash flow.
• Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining relationships.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Communicate identified financial issues to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
• Support audit requests related to accounts receivable and collections.
• Assist with system updates or implementations impacting collections.
