Job summary

ESHYFT is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to own collections, cash application, and AR operations, improving cash flow and reducing aged receivables. The role emphasizes hands-on execution with a focus on automation and revenue-cycle excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in collections, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems and payment platforms like Stripe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial collections and accounts receivable experience.
• Experience handling payment disputes, deductions, chargebacks, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, aging analysis, and DSO reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day collections, cash application, payment investigations, disputes, and account reconciliation.
• Manage portfolios to improve cash flow, reduce delinquency, and support working capital objectives.
• Ensure receipts are applied, researched, reconciled, and resolved timely.
• Conduct proactive collection outreach and secure payment commitments.
• Resolve payment delays, short-payments, unapplied cash, misapplied payments, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing disputes and collection obstacles.
• Identify collection risks and trend patterns, escalate issues affecting cash flow.
• Maintain detail of collection activity and supporting documentation.
• Prepare aging reports, collection summaries, and DSO reporting.
