Job summary

United For Growth, LLC is seeking an Accounting Associate to support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations. You will handle accounts payable and receivable processes, review vendor invoices, and maintain W-9s and tax-exempt files.

Collaboration with leadership and audit support are essential. Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports, maintaining schedules, and setting up vendors in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Accounting/Finance or 1–3 years’ related business experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong organizational skills and deadline orientation.
• Must be customer-service oriented.
• Strong computer/ERP system knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting Manager on month-end close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable and collections for non-project/loose furniture orders.
• Oversee accounts payable from invoices through approvals to payments and PO variance research.
• Close out AP monthly, prepare aging reports and reconcile with the general ledger.
• Reconcile A/P and A/R to subledgers and maintain vendor files including W-9s.
• Provide standard accounting reports to leadership on a monthly schedule.
