Job summary

Filter Services Inc./Mission Filtration is currently seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting department. This role manages the full A/R lifecycle including payment processing, application, and collections, while handling AP duties from vendor invoices to payments with accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's in finance or accounting or 3+ years in AP/AR, strong NetSuite/ERP skills, excellent Excel and communication, and a meticulous,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
• Competency with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting system.
• Strong Excel skills, strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with math and calculations.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Strong ethics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle Accounts Receivable including inquiries, invoicing, posting cash, and statements.
• Prepare GL adjustments and reconcile AR accounts.
• Resolve account status inquiries and communicate resolutions clearly.
• Create and maintain 3rd party portal accounts for invoice submission.
• Ensure 3-way match for PO-related invoices and secure necessary approvals.
• Process non-PO invoices with accurate GL coding and approvals.
• Mail/Distribute signed checks and payment advice.
• Assist with vendor statements and missing invoices.
• Support credit card processing and month-end entries.
• Perform other duties to support Accounting.
