Filter Services Inc./Mission Filtration in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting department. This role is responsible for the full A/R lifecycle including payment processing, payment application, collection efforts, and customer resolution on account.

For Accounts Payable, the responsibilities include reviewing and posting of vendor invoices, PO matching, variance resolution, and vendor payment recommendations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable will be considered as well
• Competency with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting system
• Strong Excel skills, strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with math and calculations
• Good listening and communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsabilidades

• Accounts Receivable: full cycle AR, manage AR Inbox, remote deposit capture, credit card processing, posting of cash and invoicing
• Reconcile and manage assigned AR accounts; resolve inquiries and discrepancies
• Accounts Payable: three-way match process for PO invoices; ensure timely approvals on non-PO invoices
• Process and enter all AP invoices via Ramp; mail checks and payment advices
• Reconcile vendor statements; support credit card processing and month-end closing
• Perform other duties to support Accounting
