Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a manager of Applied AI Engineers for its Megas segment to lead a technically deep, customer-facing team. You will guide architecture, evaluation strategies, and deployment patterns for Claude across major accounts, working with product, research, and sales to ensure scalable impact.

You will hire and coach engineers, set clear competency expectations, and partner with pod leads and Mega Sales to deliver value while maintaining safety and reliability across projects.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing customer-facing technical teams.

• Experience with LLMs, prompting, evaluation, and deployment at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and grow a team of Applied AI Engineers serving Mega accounts.
• Staff engineers into account-aligned pods alongside Architects.
• Set performance goals and establish metrics, dashboards, and cadence for reporting.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to Mega product and engineering leaders on Claude workloads.
• Lead co-build initiatives from prototypes to production deployments for Mega accounts.
