Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a manager for the Solutions Architect team within Applied AI Enterprise Tech. You will lead a pre-sales group that partners with account executives to help Fortune 1000-like customers deploy Anthropic’s Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and the API.

You will hire, set strategy, and scale processes, while representing Anthropic in strategic engagements and ensuring safe, reliable AI adoption across customer deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role.
• 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience.
• Deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases, API integrations, and LLM deployments.
• Experience in building and scaling teams in fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and mentor a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects with career development support.
• Set goals with sales and org leaders to define performance expectations.
• Act as technical sponsor for high-value customers and advise on AI adoption strategies.
• Partner with Enterprise Tech sales leadership to expand product adoption across use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to close feedback blockers and drive adoption.
• Travel to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions and technical workshops.
• Convey a shared vision for safe, beneficial AI in technology products.
• Contribute to thought leadership through conferences, webinars, and content.
