Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior leader to manage Applied AI Engineers for Mega accounts. You will guide engineers, architects, and product partners to design, evaluate, and deploy Claude workloads at scale.

You will shape technical strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure safety and reliability in fast-moving customer engagements. You will collaborate across Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Research to align roadmaps with Mega customers and drive high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical roles (e.g., Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer, Solutions/Sales Engineer, or Technical PM).
• 4+ years in formal leadership, including managing multiple teams.
• Experience hiring and scaling customer-facing technical teams in fast-moving environments.
• Production experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and deployment at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript.
• Ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and grow a team of Applied AI Engineers serving Mega accounts.
• Staff engineers into account-aligned pods with cross-functional collaboration.
• Set performance goals and establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadence.
• Provide technical leadership on Claude workloads from discovery to deployment.
• Lead co-build initiatives from prototypes to production deployments.
• Navigate partner-customer duality and advise on shared architectures.
• Escalate technical issues and sequence work for maximum value.
• Create reusable reference architectures and eval frameworks across pods.
• Collaborate with Product and Research to surface Mega-driven requirements.
• Contribute to public and internal assets documenting prompting and architecture.
