Job summary

Anthropic, a leading AI safety company, seeks an Applied AI Architect for its Startups team. You will partner with founders to architect Claude-based solutions, run evaluations, and guide deployments from discovery to scale, blending deep AI expertise with a builder mindset.

You will engage with executives and engineers, translating needs into actionable architectures, while driving adoption and providing technical leadership across customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer.
• Experience with startups or high-growth tech companies.
• Strong builder credibility as software engineer or founder.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered apps.
• Excellent technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate startup requirements into technical solutions and advise throughout Claude adoption journey.
• Win technical evaluations by building evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance.
• Build credibility with founders and startup engineering teams; guide architecture decisions.
• Gather insights on Claude usage and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Travel for workshops, events, and relationship building.
