Job summary

Citi is seeking a hands-on Apps Support Intermediate Analyst to support Citi Apps in a wealth data platform environment. The role emphasizes production support, incident resolution, and collaboration with tech teams to ensure data and application reliability.

You will work in a regulated financial setting with a focus on data integrity and operational continuity. The position requires 3–5 years of app production support, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Hadoop-based tools.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of strong Application production support experience in the financial industry.
• Experience with call/ticketing software.
• Working knowledge of Hadoop/Big Data platform components.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and issue tracking.
• Understanding of risk, compliance and IT control environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi applications.
• Field issues and queries, deliver short-term resolutions and coordinate with technology partners for remediation.
• Develop understanding of how apps support integrates to business goals.
• Act as liaison between users/traders and internal tech groups and vendors.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and application releases.
• Perform post-release checks and maintain support documentation.
• Assess risk and security implications of technology changes.
• Collaborate with Development to prioritize bug fixes and tooling needs.
• Ensure quality of work and effective communication across teams.
• Contribute to stability, efficiency and effectiveness initiatives.
