Job summary

Citi is seeking an Apps Support Senior Analyst in Irving, Texas to stabilize and support Citi applications within a regulated, global data platform. You will partner with traders and technology teams to ensure high availability, perform risk-aware issue resolution, and contribute to operational excellence in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The role requires 5–8 years in application support, experience with Hadoop-based stacks, Linux, SQL, and scheduling tools, plus strong analytical

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
• Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues to non-IT staff.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and issue tracking abilities.
• Knowledge of problem management tools.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of large data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi applications, delivering quick resolutions and stability improvements.
• Maintain and support production systems and their operating environments.
• Perform start-of-day checks, monitoring, and regional handovers.
• Lead and participate in application releases from development to production.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with development and other support teams to prioritize fixes and tooling.
