Job summary

GWS Tool Group in Western Michigan is seeking an Applications Specialist for Solid Round and Insert Cutting Tools. You will manage existing accounts, generate new opportunities, and educate customers, prospects, and distributors about our products and capabilities.

The role requires understanding customer needs in metalworking, coordinating with inside sales for quotes, and presenting solutions at customer sites and trade shows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience with milling, turning, or grooving.
• Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Degree in sales/marketing is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments and meeting customers to review applications and product requirements.
• Conducting on-site sales presentations and reviews with customers daily.
• Liaising between customers and internal teams for pricing, service, and product launches.
• Generating and developing prospect accounts to increase revenue.
