Job summary

GWS Tool Group is seeking an Applications Specialist to manage accounts and generate new opportunities in the Eastern Michigan Territory. The role focuses on understanding customer needs in metalworking, educating customers and distributors about GWS Tool Group products, and communicating requirements back to the team.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in manufacturing with milling, turning, and grooving experience, and be proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and meet with customers to review applications and requirements.
• Conduct sales presentations with customers on a daily basis.
• Liaise between customers and the company on pricing, services, and product launches.
• Generate and develop prospect accounts to increase revenue through distribution channels.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on product modifications and new offerings.
