Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide high-quality application support and manage SharePoint-based systems in a hybrid work environment. You will collaborate with analysts, developers, and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

You will also contribute to planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance, while prioritizing issues across business units and learning new information systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field with 2 years of experience with business management systems.
• Understanding of client-server computing environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality application support to end-users, prioritizing mission critical and non-mission critical issues.
• Contribute to planning, implementation, support, and maintenance of company-wide information systems and SharePoint technologies.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction when implementing systems.
• Translate customer requirements to technical specifications and assist in planning, analysis, and implementation of projects.

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) is a non-profit organization and one of the largest Hispanic Community Development Corporations in the United States. This will be a hybrid role - in office and remote work. You will be expected to be in the office 1 day/week.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

• You will provide high-quality application support services to end-users including prioritizing mission critical and non-mission critical issues.
• You will contribute to the project planning, implementation, support and maintenance of company-wide information systems and SharePoint technologies.
• You will work in conjunction with analysts, developers, and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction when implementing systems.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies

Education/Background:

• Required Associate's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field and two (2) years of experience with business management systems.
• Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be considered.
• An excellent understanding of, and experience with client-server computing environments.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Intermediate-to-advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn, use and support a wide range of information systems across multiple business units and business domains.
• Ability to prioritize mission critical and non-mission critical issues.
• Assist in the gathering of user requirements for reports, forms, queries, and data extraction.
• Ability to assist in the planning, analysis, and implementation of projects and systems.
• Ability to build strong relationships inside the organization.
• Ability to understand and learn business processes.
• Ability to work with analysts, administrators, and other end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction when implementing a system. Translates customer requirements to technical specifications.
• Ability to interview end-users for insight into functionality, interface, problems, and usability issues.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Technologies and must possess an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint.
