Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking an IT support professional to provide high-quality end-user support and help maintain company-wide information systems, including SharePoint.

You will work with analysts, developers, and end-users to ensure system compatibility and user satisfaction, prioritizing mission-critical issues and delivering reliable service to multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field and two (2) years of experience with business management systems.
• An excellent understanding of, and experience with client-server computing environments.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education/Background :

• Required Associate’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field and two (2) years of experience with business management systems.
• Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be considered.
• An excellent understanding of, and experience with client-server computing environments.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Intermediate-to-advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn, use and support a wide range of information systems across multiple business units and business domains.
• Ability to prioritize mission critical and non-mission critical issues.
• Assist in the gathering of user requirements for reports, forms, queries, and data extraction.
• Ability to assist in the planning, analysis, and implementation of projects and systems.
• Ability to build strong relationships inside the organization.
• Ability to understand and learn business processes.
• Ability to work with analysts, administrators, and other end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction when implementing a system. Translates customer requirements to technical specifications.
• Ability to interview end-users for insight into functionality, interface, problems, and usability issues.
