Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to support property upkeep across multiple buildings in Arizona and Nevada. You will handle plumbing, electrical tasks, pool upkeep, groundskeeping, and apartment turnovers to keep our properties safe and welcoming for residents.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Reasoning ability to follow detailed but unimpaired written or oral instructions and handle a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Commitment to continuous learning and maintenance of competency skills.

You will attend to day-to-day functions across multiple fields of property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, pool upkeep, groundskeeping, and apartment turnover. You may also be assigned additional tasks to support our projects and operations. Your work ensures that our properties are safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and tenants, directly impacting the communities we serve.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies

• Education / Background: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply an understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Employee will be expected to participate in continuous learning, competency building and maintenance of competency skills.
