Job summary

Lowe's in Alliance seeks a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to solutions that fit their goals. You will be the product expert, sharing specs, promotions, and financing options to close sales on the floor or garden center.

You may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and other departments. Benefits include bonus opportunities, education assistance, and a 10% associate discount.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education unmet).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift at least 25 lbs unassisted (or manage with assistance).
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in the state (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, manage orders/installations, and follow up for completion.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
