Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to be one of the first associates customers meet, helping them find products and transform project ideas into reality. You will be the product expert, discussing specifications, features, and financing options to close sales in the store.

You may work in various departments based on needs, with responsibilities including customer service, order processing, and training teammates in sales techniques.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales) if education is not met.
• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for prolonged periods and lift 25 lbs.
• May need sales-related licensure or registration as required by state; Lowe's supports this.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; manage estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and assist customers across channels.
• Train department associates on sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
