Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, discuss project needs, and help them find home improvement products. You will become the product expert, explain specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, and provide exceptional consulting to meet customer needs in a fast-paced store environment.

The role spans several departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more) with emphasis on delivering personalized service and achieving sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months in Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales).
• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and do basic arithmetic; stand/sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and highlighting Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department and manage orders.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, price reviews, and support checkout functions.
• Train associates on the sales floor and conduct on-the-job coaching.
