Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to guide QA for web-based applications, with strong automation testing expertise. You will shape test strategy, design test environments, and lead a testing team to deliver reliable software on tight federal schedules.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and operations to ensure quality using Playwright and Selenium, and you’ll drive improvements across test data, reports, and processes in a fully remote and hybrid

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software testing experience with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience required.
• Experience leading a testing team and mentoring juniors.
• Experience interpreting requirements and writing test documentation (Test Reports).
• Knowledge of Test Management and automation toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall QA program design and implementation.
• Develop test strategy, environments, and test data.
• Mentor and evaluate testing team members and performance.
• Plan, execute, and report on software testing activities.
• Review test documentation and improve processes.
