Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to advance QA for web-based applications, emphasizing automation testing with Playwright and Selenium. You will shape the QA program, drive test strategy, and mentor a testing team in a fully remote or hybrid setup across federal-focused projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software testing, automation expertise, and leadership experience, with a U.S. citizen security clearance path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software testing experience with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior members.
• Experience interpreting requirements and writing test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Play a strategic role in the overall design and implementation of the QA program.
• Lead the development of test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Provide leadership in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of testing staff.
• Plan, execute, and report on software development and maintenance testing.
• Review test documentation and develop test plans and procedures from requirements.
