Job summary

Groundswell, a premier technology integrator, seeks an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to drive QA for web-based applications with strong automation testing experience. You will lead test strategy, design environments, mentor testing staff, develop plans, and report on testing outcomes in a fully remote or hybrid team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT, 5+ years of software testing, 2+ years of automation testing, and hands-on expertise with Playwright and Selenium.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior members.
• Ability to interpret requirements and write test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of Test Management and automation toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of overall test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Plan, execute, and report on software development and maintenance testing.
• Mentor testing team members and provide performance evaluations.
• Review and recommend test documentation.
• Coordinate with testing groups and communicate upgrades or system changes.
