DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring for a Specialist – Apparel to help athletes find the right apparel for performance and everyday wear. You’ll combine product expertise with strong service to drive results and build confidence with customers.

You’ll engage shoppers, learn needs, and provide knowledgeable recommendations while maintaining store standards and policies. This role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and a welcoming environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and create a world-class athlete experience and providing clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store.
• Demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and athletes are engaged when, where, and how they want.
• Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc.
• Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Creates a store environment where everyone, both teammates and athletes, are always welcome and treated with respect; adheres to safety, loss prevention and SOPs.
