Job summary

CSL in the United States (Florida) is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donors, equipment, and the donor area for pheresis procedures. This role monitors donors, responds to alarms, and ensures proper data recording in the donor information system.

The candidate will maintain safety protocols, prepare the autopheresis machine, and may be cross-trained in other areas as needed. Responsibilities include documenting incidents, maintaining supplies, and safeguarding donor confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math calculations ability required.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred (3 months).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions; notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and available supplies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
