Job summary

CSL Plasma in Florida is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donors, donor area and equipment for pheresis processing. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and work to ensure a smooth donor flow and safe operations.

Responsibilities include preparing the autopheresis machine, monitoring the donor, recording incidents with the PDA, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with HSE and OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to donors.
