Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for move-in and maintain attractive common areas across our properties in Houston, TX. You will respond to work orders, coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, and deliver excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of general maintenance experience and a toolkit of trade skills, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of community.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move-in.
• Driving property performance by performing any and all work that produces clean, safe, and attractive common areas.
• Driving resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely in a quality manner.
• Coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Maintaining property value by performing preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Ensuring a safe work environment by identifying safety issues and reporting them.
• Using software applications to track work and personal performance.
• Be a part of a team handling a variety of tasks in an always developing environment.
