Job summary

Tipton Asset Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician in Houston, TX. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the apartment community to keep residents satisfied.

Responsibilities include turnovers of vacant units, on-call emergencies, grounds work, and supporting electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks. A HS diploma, 1 year make-ready experience, HVAC cert, and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of make-ready/groundskeeper experience.
• HVAC certified.
• Provide or use own tools.
• Must maintain professional conduct with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in turnovers/make-readies of vacant units.
• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work (trash pickup, light landscaping).
• Assist with maintenance tasks: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.
