Job summary

S2 Residential is seeking a Make Ready technician in Houston, TX to prepare homes for new residents. You will inspect and ready units, assist the maintenance team on major projects and in emergencies, and coordinate trash-out with the grounds crew.

You will inspect appliances, A/C systems, safety devices, and construction details, then perform routine maintenance such as replacing bulbs, testing safety equipment, and timing unit handovers to leasing staff. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail required for inspecting units, appliances, and safety devices.
• Ability to work with the maintenance team on projects and emergencies.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and assist with turn-ins.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trash-out of apartments with grounds team.
• Inspect appliances, A/C, faucets, safety devices for working condition.
• Inspect unit construction for paint, flooring, and fixtures and note needed items.
