Job summary

Tipton Asset Group, Inc. seeks a Make Ready Technician in Houston, TX to maintain the apartment community and support resident satisfaction. You will handle day-to-day maintenance, turnovers of vacant units, and on-call emergencies, along with basic grounds work.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of make-ready/groundskeeper experience, HVAC certification, and the use of your own tools. A professional, courteous demeanor with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of make-ready/groundskeeper experience.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Provide/use of own tools for maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in turnovers/make-readies of vacant units.
• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work such as trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.
