Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments and keep multifamily communities in top condition in Tampa, FL. You will handle maintenance across common areas and respond to work orders to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) and a willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends. EPA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance/repair experience, preferably in multifamily or related industry.
• Trade skills include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain and clean common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots) to drive property performance.
• Respond to and complete work orders promptly with quality results.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to protect property value.
• Identify safety hazards and report or fix issues with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Use software to track work and personal performance.
• Be adaptable to a developing environment with the team.
