Job summary

TAM Residential is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new tenants through cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. You will ensure units meet safety and aesthetic standards before occupancy, documenting work and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities include deep cleaning, basic plumbing and electrical tasks, painting, carpentry, and HVAC upkeep, while following health and safety guidelines and local housing codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in apartment or property maintenance preferred.
• Experience with painting, flooring installation and basic carpentry.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of apartment surfaces, floors, walls and fixtures.
• Deep cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms to move-in ready condition.
• Identify repairs during inspections and report needs.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks as needed.
• Paint walls and install or repair fixtures and doors.
• Document work with checklists and before/after photos.
