Job summary

BSR REIT is seeking a Make Ready Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across our apartment communities. Responsibilities include preparing vacant units, responding to work orders promptly, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure a high standard of resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of maintenance experience with knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, and carpentry, and hold or pursue EPA/HVAC certifications.

Qualifications

• 40 hours per week.
• 2-3 years general maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, pools and carpentry.
• EPA and/or HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment community.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Lock installation and repairs.
• Maintain and upkeep pools and common areas.
• Minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, appliance installation and repairs.
