Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for The Park at Knightsbridge in Riverview, FL. The role involves hands-on maintenance, unit make-readies, and responsive service to residents in a 228-unit community.

You will work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician, perform plumbing, electrical work, pool upkeep, and contribute to a safe, well‑functioning property. A valid HVAC license and a willingness to be on‑call are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily housing (REQUIRED).
• Valid HVAC license required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
• Personal basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing daily service requests for residents.
• Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool upkeep.
• Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Use and maintain your own tools in a professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers.
