Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on tasks in a fast-paced multifamily setting. You will assist with service requests, unit make-readies, and various repairs, while maintaining safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in apartment maintenance, HVAC license, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will join a team-first culture with on-call duties and a driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily housing (REQUIRED).
• HVAC license required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
• A personal set of basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing daily service requests for residents.
• Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeep.
• Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Use and maintain your own tools in a professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers.
