Rentyl Apartments in Riverview, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure units are kept ready by timely turns and proactive maintenance. You will work with the Service Manager to coordinate repairs, supervise contractors when needed, and provide excellent resident service.

You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, participate in on-call rotations and weekend/evening shifts, and help maintain the property's safety and curb appeal through consistent upkeep.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Work with Service Manager to ensure vacant units are ready in a timely manner; turns within three days if possible.
• Oversee turn-key work of outside contractors when Manager is absent.
• Respond to resident service tickets with timely follow-ups and complete repairs.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in with turnover repairs and improvements.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve building value.
• Maintain building appearance and safety through upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends/evenings and stay on-call for after-hours emergencies.
