Job summary

Rentyl Apartments in Riverview, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our property in top condition and ensure timely turns of vacant units. You will partner with the Service Manager to perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, and to oversee contractors when needed.

The ideal candidate has experience in building maintenance or trades, is on-call for after-hours emergencies, and demonstrates attention to detail, strong communication, and a service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or related trades.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair skills.
• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• On-call availability and ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units and complete turns within three days.
• Oversee work of outside contractors in the manager's absence.
• Respond to resident service requests with timely follow-ups.
• Perform preventive maintenance to preserve building value.
• Provide outstanding resident/customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call after hours.
