Job summary

Southern Management Co. is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician (M3/M4) to handle a range of tasks from electrical to ceramic tile repair in our apartment communities. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a rotating Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in maintenance related field(s).
• Successful completion of Basic Electric class offered at SMC internal training facility.
• Completion of all other basic maintenance classes offered internally and on-the-job training within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Address, follow up and document service requests.
• Assist with inventory maintenance.
• Diagnose heat problems and repair or replace components as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units.
• Complete additional preventive maintenance inspections as scheduled.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Ensure all work and documentation comply with internal quality control standards.
