Job summary

Search Results is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with additional duties. The role covers light repairs, plumbing and electrical tasks, and maintenance of common areas across the property, including pools and fences.

The candidate must have a valid driver's license, 6 months of related experience, and read/write/speak English for business purposes.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience with light electrical and plumbing
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must read, write and speak English for business purposes
• On-call availability
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required

Responsibilities

• Complete light maintenance repairs to prepare apartments for new residents
• Handle maintenance requests in occupied units (plumbing, appliances, carpentry, painting, roofing)
• Maintain common areas (leasing office, clubhouse, laundry, models, pool, fences)
• Monitor and service pool and Jacuzzi areas including chemical checks
• Assess extraordinary maintenance needs (guttering, parking lot, exterior lighting, carpets)
• Depose ice-melt and snow as needed
• Order materials with Property Manager approval
• Repair or relay carpeting when required
• Act as Lead Maintenance Technician when needed
• Perform tasks assigned by Property Manager/Supervisor
