Job summary

Southern Management Co. in Vienna, VA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician (M3) for a full-time role.

You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, tiling, masonry and appliances to ensure community assets meet company standards. Qualified candidates have two to three years of maintenance experience, basic electrical understanding, and may hold refrigerant certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in maintenance related field(s). Basic electrical understanding.
• Successful completion of other basic maintenance classes.
• Refrigerant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and make repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, tiling, masonry and appliances.
• Address, follow up and document service requests.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Make repairs to grounds and drainage.
• Ensure all work and documentation comply with quality control standards.
