Job summary

Southern Management Co. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician (M1) to join our team. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, while performing preventive maintenance and on-site documentation.

The role requires lifting, on-call duties, and strong customer service focus in a residential community. The ideal candidate has a Type II CFC license, 7+ years of maintenance experience, and the ability to follow safety protocols and quality

Qualifications

• Type II CFC license or higher required.
• Seven years of maintenance-related experience.
• Completion of basic maintenance classes within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC problems and repair or replace components as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units and related systems.
• Address service requests and document outcomes.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools per policy.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and assorted building components as required.
• Ensure all work complies with internal quality control standards.
