Job summary

Southern Management Companies is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician (M3) to ensure community assets meet company standards and legal requirements. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, masonry and appliances.

The role requires a three-year maintenance background, basic electric training, and on-the-job learning within a year. Competitive benefits and on-call rotation accompany the pay rate listed.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in maintenance related field(s).
• Successful completion of Basic Electric class offered at SMC internal training facility.
• Successful completion of all other basic maintenance classes offered internally and all on-the-job training within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Address, follow up and document service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies.
