PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service an assigned apartment community. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance while prioritizing resident satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, monitor inventories, and help manage budget guidelines. A strong technical aptitude and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or alike.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies at appropriate levels.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Comply with all personnel management policies and procedures and maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow employees, vendors and supervisors.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to adhere to budget guidelines and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with maintaining a hazard communications program.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features to minimize liability.
• Adhere to safety programs and procedures.
• Maintain physical condition of the community per company standards.
• Support curb appeal at all times.
• Assist residents with move-in/move-out, and maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer guidelines and manuals.
• Address complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records and upkeep of office, common areas and model.
• Assist in daily exterior cleanup including grounds and common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and log chemicals accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
