Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of upkeep tasks at an assigned apartment community. The ideal candidate is resident-focused, reliable and technically skilled, taking pride in high-quality work.

Responsibilities include completing service requests promptly, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliances, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to meet safety standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartments.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests thoroughly and timely.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule.
• Communicate with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and accurate records.
• Assist with move-in/move-out, and on-call rotation.
• Ensure curb appeal and adherence to safety standards.
