Job summary

The role focuses on general building maintenance, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping to keep facilities safe and welcoming for residents. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventive maintenance, grounds care, annual inspections, coordinating with vendors, and reporting issues.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to keep building systems in good condition.
• Maintaining grounds and landscaping for curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Coordinating with the Property Manager to order supplies and coordinate vendors.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed, and responding to emergency maintenance as needed.
