This full-time role requires experience in general building maintenance and landscaping. Responsibilities include handling maintenance requests, performing repairs, and maintaining a safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping is preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is a plus.
• Reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Access to a personal smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations.
• Following company policies and procedures.
