Job summary

AWI Management Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 55-unit apartment community in Lancaster, CA. The role focuses on on-site upkeep, safety, and resident satisfaction, with a Full-Time, 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks, and assisting with preventative maintenance. Experience with HUD/LIHTC housing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
• Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs.
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies.
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations.
• Following company policies and procedures.
