Job summary

AWI Management Corp. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a 48-unit apartment community in Dinuba, CA. The role emphasizes general building maintenance, groundskeeping, and responsive upkeep to ensure safe, welcoming housing.

Experience with painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance is preferred, with knowledge of HUD/LIHTC or RD programs a plus. This on-site position requires dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

General groundskeeping and landscaping experience.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
Assist with preventative maintenance to keep building systems in good condition.
Maintain grounds and landscaping for strong curb appeal.
Assist with annual apartment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
Coordinate with the Property Manager to obtain vendors and supplies.
Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
Report lease or house rule violations when observed.
Respond to emergency maintenance situations.
Follow company policies and procedures.
