AWI Management Corporation is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain a 24-unit apartment community in Holbrook, AZ. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, enjoy solving problems, and value creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, performing general maintenance tasks, and maintaining property grounds. Applicants should have strong communication skills and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping is preferred.
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
• Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations.
